Wrinkles and lines
Hyperdynamic lines occur mostly in the upper face due to contraction of the underlying muscles: forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet. Static lines develop in any area of the face, including the cheeks and around the mouth. There is a progressive loss of fat as the face ages, resulting in volume depletion and wrinkling of the skin. Excessive sun exposure and smoking exacerbate these processes, resulting in a loss of collagen and elastin and skin that is loose and crepy. At Bio Force, we perform treatments with the following benefits:

Eyes and around eyes
Eyes and around eyes Procedures that address lines, hollows, and dark circles under the eyes play an important role in facial rejuvenation. Dr. Prendergast also lifts the brow using non-surgical methods.
Crow's feet are softened using tiny injections to relax muscles that "scrunch up". Delicate injections into the lower eyelid muscle also soften lines and reduce bunching in this area. A careful assessment is made before any injections are placed in the eyelids to ensure a satisfactory result without complications.
To treat under-eye hollows, hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane are injected along the so-called "tear trough". This is an advanced technique that should only be performed by experienced cosmetic doctors.
For a natural, gently arching brow lift, either relaxing injections are performed, or a thread lift. The thread lift procedure lifts the brow instantly under local anaesthesia.

- Smoother skin with fewer lines
- Natural-looking appearance
- Minimally invasive, quick procedures
- Safe, effective procedures
- Rejuvenation around the eyes and mouth
Our treatments include:
- Muscle-relaxing injections: Extremely quick, safe, and effective, this is the most common cosmetic medical procedure in the world. Tiny injections are made precisely into the muscles that cause the lines. The muscles gradually relax and the lines smooth, providing a natural-looking result. The common areas indicated are upper face lines and crow’s feet. Dr. Prendergast also uses these injections to relax lines around the mouth, and for horizontal neck lines.

- Fillers: Temporary and long-lasting natural fillers soften lines instantly. Injections are placed carefully at various depths in the skin depending on the nature of the line. Hyaluronic acid fillers are clear gel products that consist of a molecule found naturally in the skin, eyes, and joints. At Bio Force we use a range of hyaluronic acid products, as well as longer-lasting fillers such as calcium hydroxylapatite (Radiesse). A local anesthetic injection is used before the treatment to ensure it is a totally painless experience.
